@Jonas Lang: I don't have 28.2, but 19.2E and 23.5E (and DVB-T) and arte HD is on 11493.75H.

Yesterday morning, I installed a new raspbian buster (with Imager on my Linux Mint) and installed the tvheadend package from the normal repository, it is now HTS Tvheadend 4.3-1994~gc7b713edb.
I configured the system NOT LU_DE, but DE_DE and set country to germany (I don't use WLAN, so it doesn't matter).

It had the correct data from 11:56 until 23:30 (then I went to sleep). At night it overrided the correct EPG data until 08:01:2023, 06:00:00 (it always drops the current day until the next day 06:00:00 and the following day until 06:00:00 the day after (see picture "arte_HD_after_grabbing.png" two days before).

I found 23 topics concerning "19.2E EPG" and will look at them, but it takes some time - maybe there's someone who watches arte HD too - I will contact him/her.

Someone connected me by Bug #6237, which I created, to tell me, he has the same behavior - so I am not alone, but I think it's not that important for him.
My next step: installing a RaspberryPi with Raspbian - installing tvheadend - installing kodi and having run "arte HD" for all the time to always have the correct EPG data - the records were started by the browser - after receiving the USB stick for DVB-S2.
Not elegant but solving

Can you grab a sample of the complete mux (about 10 seconds should be enough) and attach it here. I'm not an expert but something may stand out.

(Go to Configuration -> DVB Inputs -> Muxes. Find your mux 11493.75H, right-click on the blue arrow at the left of the line and select "copy link location". Go to a terminal window and enter "wget " then paste the link and hit Return. Stop after 10 seconds with control-C.)

I've just seen: I have the correct data again. Maybe it's because of a new scan, but it looses the information after a while

I attach the syslog.
As you can see, it re-inserts the autorecs of "Wasser ist Zukunft" after the wget - they were lost, when I got the "El canal ...." as EPG data.

Thanks. As far as I can tell the data is all present as expected.

One thing I noticed in your syslog. The EPG Grabber timeout is set to the default of 600 seconds. There are about 120 muxes on 19.2E, so a full scan will take 20 hours - more if you are recording or watching live TV. Mine is set to 180 seconds, though EPG is handled differently on 28.5E. I doubt that is causing your problem but you could try reducing the timeout value.

Other than that, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas again...

30sec is enough to grab 168h 24 channels EPG on single mux, on single core 450MHz CPU.

I changed to 30sec - the problem persists. I have found a new behavior: the actual emission and the follwoing are shown and then the "El canal..." and after 2 days the correct data again. See screen shot.

Another question: the time zone of the network is UTC and only accessible in expert mode. Should I change this to UTC+1?
What's the difference, when I leave it as it is and when I change it (dropping epg database and recreating is simple...)

workaround: starting script with crontab every 30 minutes... safety-problem: password is in script and ps shows it too - so nobody should hack my system, but I think one can only damage this system, no others

Maybe 30 seconds is too short.

I don't understand where the 'El canal' comes from. The title is in Spanish; although 'arte HD' broadcasts in Spanish it is not available in that language on any of the networks you are receiving.

Leave as UTC - the EPG times are in UTC

See if there is a duplications.

I sorted by service id. 11493.75 has 4 service-id's 10301-10304 for Das Erste HD, arte HD, SWR BW|RP HD, but no duplicates.
I changed timeout to 60s now.

Let's make some simple experiment's.
1. Play stream in VLC and see what show EPG there.
2. Download EPG and see with channel have same EVENT.

2. How to download EPG and how to analyze?
