Smart IPTV intergration

I am running TVHEADEND version 4.3-1994~gc7b713edb

Is there any way to export a playlist in m3u format or even better pass a URL with authentication to Smart IPTV installed on my LG TV?

I have been through the threads on this forum but nothing seems to work. I can seen a list of channels but when I click on any of them the content is not displayed and there is no connection attempt in tvheadend / status / connections so I gather it us an authentication problem.
