Unable to configure CXD2880 for DVB-C on tvheadend

Hey guys gonna ask about this one really new of tvheadend and don't know yet how things done.
Recently I bought Sony CXD2880 to use on my Rapsberry Pi, unfortunately don't know how to use it to scan channels to watch, I learn that CXD2880 was a DVB-T and my country belong to ISDB-T and for cable provider DVB-C. Is there any way to use the device without buying additional or replacement of the tuner? Glad someone answer my question hope someone help.

In that case it appears that it is DVB-T/T2 only. I am not familiar with "ISDB-T", but many sticks support both DVB-T and DVB-C and many of them can be bought cheap on eBay. Problem is that sticks that look the same, might not always have the same chipsets.

Generally the "Astrometa" style sticks should work.

So what do you plan to do with DVB standard when locally is used ISDB?

I was really no idea, but now since I know that my CXD2880 isn’t worked for ISDB I’m hoping maybe it should work on DVB-C in some point or maybe just buy a supported one.
