How can I install tvheadend for ubuntu 20.04 without snap?

Also I can't use the snap version, because it can't write recordings to a secondary drive.

With snap you can get it to record to secondary drives but it is a pain to setup IMO.

I use Mamarleys repo for tvheadend which seems to be the most up to date tvheadend you can get and works well with Ubuntu. I use it in production.

Hope that helps somewhat! I'm by no means a tvheadend expert and have my own issues with it but I have it somewhat working.
