can't install tvhead, tvheadend ppa doozor.io service unavailable

Hi folks,

so when adding the ppa for tvheadend and installing the pgp key it comes up with no valid OpenPGP data found, anyway turns out that doozor.io is completely offline and comes up with a service unavailable 503 error how ever i went to the next resort of using wget -qO- https://doozer.io/keys/tvheadend/tvheadend/pgp | sudo tee /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/tvheadend.asc but of course that won't work neither as doozer itself is offline anyway to contact these guys ? I also tried building from source but that doesn't work neither.

How can I install tvh on ubuntu 20.04. The doozer thing is crap - still doesn't work...

You should use the official repository if possible.

I installed LinuxMint virginia (Ubuntu 22.04) from the ppa repository:

The official version of the Tvheadend installation is for Debian... and not Ubuntu? And as far as I remember, installation with ppa on Debian is not impossible, but difficult :-)

OK ... the installation should work for Ubuntu as well. But probably not the option from the ppa repository? And as far as I remember, installing from the ppa repository on Debian is not impossible, but difficult, but it works great on Ubuntu and the automatic update works well if the ppa repository is well updated and managed and the ones I provided work OK and the update is immediate! :-)

The procedure for installing a program from some PPA repository is always the same and is relatively simple. In the terminal, we execute the commands by confirming each entry with enter:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mamarley/tvheadend-git
sudo apt update
sudo apt install tvheadend
