Transponder Error and Continuity Errors making my video stream useless

Hi everyone, I am getting lots of Transponder Error and Continuity Errors ( 28000 and more)when both tuners are active.. impact is: when i stream 1 channel...

You seem to have several USB devices on your system. How are they connected and how are they powered?

Your tuner has its transfer mode set to 'bulk'. Is this the default for this device or did you change it? If you changed it, how was the performance in Isochronous mode?

No, i have only 1 USB device attached: the tuner.(see attached pic)

it is powered by the usb port.

Else there is only the power-cord and a rj45 for the network attached.

the default transfer mode seams to be isochronous.
i changed it based on the documentation here to bulk: linuxtv org /wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-dualHD
my observations say: the errors dropped down to 10% (about 3500 from previously 35000)
but there are still lots of errors on the tuners when i have both enabled.
disabling the "second" tuner, eliminates almost all errors

Try withpowertop optimisation
Do not optimise anything with includeUSB in name

optimized everything except 4 entries that mentioned USB

side question: this optimization needs to be redone after a reboot, right?

however, seams not to help :(

Check cables where signal come from.

If you have some amplifier, it can be one with generate noises.

What is signal type DVB-C or DVB-T?

cables should be fine:
- i live in a newly build home (3 years old now)
- cable goes straight from wall to tuner - no amplifiers

- using a high quality thick shielded cable

it is DVB-C
disabled DVB-T

the one with "OFF" in the name is just a reminder for me, so i know which one to disable, so i can use the setup at all

hmmm.. looks like the optimizations in powertop are also putting my laptop to sleep now after a while :(
did e reboot .. but still happening :(
