Hello
I am new to tvheadend; and I am having some problems.
The location is in the UK, Lancaster (North West).
Hardware
The card is Hauppage WinTV-HVR-5525
https://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/products/data_hvr5525.html
The aerial is: SV9460
https://www.oneforall.co.uk/tv-aerials/sv-9460-amplified-indoor-tv-aerial#/step-1
(Enabled as a LNA enabled in parameters)
I am using a docker container in UNRAID, with a driver /dev/dvb/adapter1 [Silicon Labs Si2168 #1 DVB-T #0]
I have disabled DVB-C and DVB-S currently in Configuration > TV adapters.
It is intended to be eventually used for Kodi, once setup.
Problem
Using the pre-defined mux UK - Lancaster; I pick up no channels at all, I get six Muxes's and Force Scan.
When I use the default-auto predefined; I get a considerable more amount of fails but it does pick up about 50-80 services from 57 muxes.
I have noticed there are no DVB-T2 (HD channels) - both the card and aerial which I think has good signal is not picking anything up.
Last night I spent a few hours trying to update the frequencies (using a site I found), putting stuff in AUTO and setting 8MHz, even trying to adjust the QAM/256 etc. I did not get very far at all...
I probably made myself more confused as the Freeview website suggests Winterhill mux not Lancaster for my post code. I believe my aerial is in the direction of Whitehill, and I tried with LNA on and off
I set the networks to advanced options: New muxes + changed muxes.
The DVB-T channels I do find seem strong and very clear - BBC, Dave, SkyNews etc - perfectly clear, sharp, no audio/video cutout.
It be great if someone can help me, possibly give step by step or basic instructions especially how to get DVB-T2 HD in my area.
I sort of hoped it would be a case of hitting go and it do all the work.
Thanks
Chris
