Setting up HDHome Run, Verizon FIOS

I have been reading the guids and trying to get my system set-up several different OS / configurations and still keep running into the same problem.

I have Tvheadend 3.2.18 running on Ubuntu Server 12.04 (in a VM running on Ubuntu 12.04)
HD Home Run Prime (singel card, 3 tuners)

Verizon FIOS TV

As far as I can tell everything on the linux system was installed and running correctly. I can use the HDHome Run GUI to watch live TV on my main desktop. I have Tvheadend installed on the server and everything there seems to be OK. I can connect to the web interface to perform the set up and see all three of my tuners.

1) For the adapters I have selected all the different (non-location specific) locations and the system scans between 125 to 250 muxes. In all cases 0 services are found.

2) The "Map DVB services to channels" is never enabled

3) When I try to add a multiplexer manualy but the pop-up dialog is empty. I tried differnt browsers, firefox deom Windows, and a browser from my android tablet.

Can anyone help with the correct settings and how to get to the next step?

Hi Thomas,

I too had the problem of the add multiplexer manually box being empty. I do not know the cause or solution to that. However, you can create a custom mux list. Please see the thread below for tips on doing that.

I out off working on this for a while to take care of a few other things.

Today I started to see if I could get things working. Here is what I found:
When accessing the web site (tvheadend) with firefox / chrome in linux, the web pages are not displayinmg correctly.
When I use Window Firefox in linux in Wine, not working corretly.

When I access the web site from a Windows system with Firefox it appears to work correctly.

I have the basic channels mapped (automaticlly) and now need to find out how to get the encrypted stations mapped and online along with the program guide.
