How do I create redundancy if I have two sources?

Let me explain: There are channels where I can get the same programme either OTA or via cable. Say "SVT 1 HD" how do I create a redundant setup so that I have one changgel, named "SVT 1 HD" where it selects OTA primary and Cable secondary if say the adapter is busy?

Do I simply select two services, under edit channel, services?

Next question: I seem to have duplicates under "services", how do I clean them up?

(corrected) You will have two muxes. These can be from two different networks with a set of tuners each. One mux for each channel. Two muxes then tie to two different Services. Those services then map to a single channel. Set the mux priority for each mux so that it will choose the first mux if a tuner is available; otherwise, it will use the other tuner. If a tuner is down then things get a little more complex. My understanding is that the only way for the that to work is for the mux to re-scan and realise that the mux "Fail" and is down. Then the channel would choose the "OK" mux over the "Fail" mux if a tuner is available.

You can easily delete services as you need. Services appear automatically as needed when you run scans. Duplicates will appear when you re-scan and something changes for that mux. If you delete and add a Service, then you need to re-map the service to channels (not an automatic thing).

Thanks! They are rearranging the muxes on feb 9 anyway and I will add another DVB-C stick also. I do not expect tuners to be down, just busy tuned to another channel. Hence my need for redundancy.
