Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advice on the following problem;
Running TVH 4.3-1896~gce0907705 compiled on Ubuntu 20.04 (Patched up to date) and running into the following.
Tuning to a channel from a client prints the following to the logs;
Sep 2 12:58:15 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: mpegts: 666MHz in DVBT - tuning on HDHomeRun DVB-T Tuner #0 (172.16.11.64)
Sep 2 12:58:15 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tvhdhomerun: tuning to auto:666000000
Sep 2 12:58:15 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: subscription: 01D4: "172.16.8.133 [ ]" subscribing on channel "STV HD", weight: 150, adapter: "HDHomeRun DVB-T Tuner #0 (172.16.11.64)", network: "DVBT", mux: "666MHz", service: "STV HD", profile="htsp", hostname="172.16.8.133"
Stream starts and all runs well (web interface shows 89% signal and 95% SNR)
Occasionally I'll get logs showing errors;
Sep 2 18:00:15 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tsfix: The timediff for AAC-LATM is big (1630774480), using current dts
Sep 2 18:14:50 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tsfix: transport stream AAC-LATM, DTS discontinuity. DTS = 78720000, last = 61551360
Sep 2 18:15:53 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tsfix: transport stream AAC-LATM, DTS discontinuity. DTS = 84422400, last = 81404160
Sep 2 18:31:38 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tsfix: transport stream AAC-LATM, DTS discontinuity. DTS = 169459200, last = 139407360
Sep 2 18:45:02 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tsfix: transport stream AAC-LATM, DTS discontinuity. DTS = 241785600, last = 240840960
Sep 2 18:49:05 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tsfix: transport stream AAC-LATM, DTS discontinuity. DTS = 263692800, last = 244488960
These don't appear to really affect the stream and things runs as normal until;
Sep 3 06:09:11 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tsfix: transport stream DVBSUB, DTS discontinuity. DTS = -9223372036854775808, last = 5567160824
Sep 3 06:09:12 iptvproxy tvheadend[100398]: tsfix: transport stream H264, DTS discontinuity. DTS = -9223372036854775808, last = 5567231571
The stream will then freeze on the client. A restart of the stream will bring it back again but ideally I'd like to avoid the need for that to happen.
I'm looking to see if anybody can shed any light on where the error might be coming from.
I'm concerned that the final DTS difference is massive compared to the others (a rollover of some sort?) but I'm not sure what the DTS is or where its coming from?
thanks
