[SOLVED] Auth issue VLC

Hi all.
I've just recently updated TVH to 4.3 and I'm having a headache with VLC client:

After I login through http://user:pass@ip:9981/playlist/channels I'm being asked frequently for the credentials when switching channels.

Channels are working and everything is fine but... is it there a way to not being asked again for the credentials when switching channels???
I can't find the fix, I've tried changing the http auth method and many other options but nothing had worked for me.

Thx for your reply.
In v4.3 there isn't or i couldn't find the "persistent password" option.

Anyway if I use http://user:pass@ip:9981/playlist/auth/channels URL, it resolves a 400 Bad Request.

I had to use the old method to fix the issue: changing the hardcoded ticket expiration #define in acces.c and building again.

It worked for me.

I say where is inpassword section on any user account.

Srry mate, but I don't have that option.

I saw a picture from you in another post where is the persistent auth checkbox, but there isn't in my version 4.3.

What is version with you use?

hmmm interesting.
I can only find 4.3, not the 0.0.XXXX
I cloned https://github.com/tvheadend/tvheadend/tree/v4.3 maybe thats the reason why.
Where should i get the latest?
Its a bit confusing to find the right place.

Should I install a different version? Can't find where to download different 4.3 versions.
