CPU Load on QNAP System

Hi,

first ... nice software thx for development, great job!

My Setup:
Qnap TS-219 II
2 x Sundtek Sky Ultimate DVB-S2 Sticks
HTS Tvheadend 3.3.131~g9338b95
XBMC 12 (3.11.2012)

CWC On

Problem:
I habe no problems with one stream, cpu load is round about 10%. sometime with a short peak to 50%.

but when i try to watch two streams at the same time, i get a heavy cpu load.any ideas how i could solve the problem?

Presumably these are USB devices if you are using with a QNAP. I would recommend that you edit the adapter configuration to disable full mux rx (this will eventually be the default for all USB devices, but not got around to changing it).

This might help reduce CPU loading.

i disable "Disable full MUX reception" ... first test show better cpu load. now i have 70% for two streams ... nice!

I'm confused? you say better CPU load and then 70% for 2 streams? Is that last statement being ironic?

70% load for 2 streams is pretty high, though I guess it depends on what processor model you have in your QNAP and what streams those are.

Ok, i will try to explain my problem better (sorry for my bad english)

the problem still exist.

The qnap use aMarvell 2.0 GHz CPU. Model Typ: TS-219P II

CPU load for one stream (HD 1080) with CWC

i think the problem is on CWC!

Please can you report this as a bug. I would have to agree that it does look like its CWC related.
