scan no data, failed

I have been using TVHeadend successfully for some time however in the past few days I have been experiencing the following problem.

I have searched the forum trying every possible solution. This is occurring on RaspberryPi3 (fresh install of Raspbian) and a Linux Mint 19.1 installation, same failures on both. I have examined the m3u playlist and the format appears to be correct, it works fine using VLC. I am seeing services found, sometimes !

I have tried wget --user-agent="HTS/tvheadend" http://www.beams-tv.stream:80/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxx/116

and get

HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 401 Unauthorized

Username/Password Authentication Failed.

So I presume that the prvider is using agent checking, I have asked them to confirm this. Can the user-agent be changed ?

I really would appreciate any assistance, especially with which subsystems I need to provide debug information.

Provider is not blocking User-Agent.

I have now tried several IPTV client apps on Windows, iOS, Linux, Android, all working. TVHeadend is not.
