Out of ideas and need some help

Hello everyone, I am a first time poster and I think this software is genius. My problem is as follows:

I am using a vr-1 raspberry pi 3 with osmc-tvheadend 4.2.6 installed with a Hauppauge 950q tuner as my server. I can see the tuners within the web page, and I have set it up according to the information that I read about on the net. It seems that only one of the tuners are working, but that is the least of my concern right now. My clients consist of fire tv and firesticks and a rp-3. The major problem that I am dealing with is that the hd ota stations are playing jerky, playing in fast motion and buffers quite often with the fire tv and sticks only. The SD frequencies play fine. The rp3 has the mpeg licenses installed and plays fine too without choppy or jerk video, but buffers a lot. My router is a powerful netgear 9000 and my internet speed is 300mbps. I have changed many settings that others have wrote about and I still cannot figure what the problem is.

Can anyone offer me suggestions on how I can correct the choppy fast video and buffering, or tell me what I may have forgotten to do?

You might try changing the default profile. Config --> Recording --> DVR Profiles. I think for default profile the stream profile is set to matroska. Try switching that to pass. The devices might like that better maybe.

You mention your internet speed - does that mean you are trying to stream across the internet? If so, your theoretical internet speed is almost meaningless for video streaming. To stream HD channels across the internet, you will most likely have to transcode to a lower quality in order to get reliable playback. If you have problems on you internal network, then you need to specify better how it is connected. Wired/wireless? Speed? Using kodi on the pi?

Thank you for the replies and I apologize for not being more clear. I am in the preliminary stages of setting this up and testing. I have not setup the epg or pvr yet because I am still learning and focusing on getting the stream correct. Anyway, I have a raspberry pi 3 (first version) loaded with tvheadend and it is wired directly into my netgear r9000 which is one of the fastest routers on the market. I have an iptv sub and a Hauppauge 950q tuner connected to the pi3.

I have 3 firetv's and one raspeberry pi as clients. The m3u files and the tv tuner loaded into tvheadend and the clients can see the channels. The raspberry pi3 has the mpeg license and plays the tv tuner clear without any problems, but the firetv products are producing a choppy, lagging slow and fast pace video. The clients are all wireless and are receiving 50 mbps download speed as per the speed test. My other wireless products that I have average around 300mbp so I believe the router is functioning correctly.

I have tried adjusting the settings within kodi as per many posts that I have read on the net and these issues still exist. I believe that the problem has something to do with the firetv or settings within kodi because there are no hiccups with the client raspberry pie or windows 10 kodi. It seems that the firetv is not compatible with streaming the mpeg2 video that comes from the turner. When I change the "render setting"s within kodi, the iptv acts up and buffers. Otherwise,the iptv video for the most part is good, but a little jerky.

I hope I have explained this fiasco a little better and I am game for any suggestions.

When upload over internet important is upload speed not download.

choppy video on fast movement is problem of player 95% of cases,
interlaced video source I guess.
Deinterlacing filter is not enabled maby.
