BBC World News HD - Badr 6

Hi all,

Hate that my first post is a request for help but...

Everything I have read says that BBC World News HD is available on Badr 6 but no matter what I do it does not appear in the services tab.

Frequency: 11,785 MHz (vertical)

QPSK, Symbol Rate: 27.5MSymb/s, FEC: 3/4

The satellite data is not predefined so am entering them one by one as when I enter one it doesn't add the additional ones.

Is the data out of date and it no longer there or am I doing something wrong?!

Well, from your image it's showing as "FAIL" so that's why it's not showing up. Confirm that the dish is aligned correctly. Also try using AUTO values as some drivers don't accept anything else.

Tried both that, has picked up other channels from when I have manually entered the information the same satellite just not this one.

Driving me bonkers, will keep playing!

Think I've work out what the problem is.

Living a an complex with multiple dishes.

Nilesat 201
Badr

Hotbird

When it searching or channels when it gets to frequency: 11,785 it's picking up the service from Nilesat 201 and not from Badr6

Is there anyway around this?
