Can I record TV locally?

Hi,

I'm using TVheadend in Kodi (on a Raspberry Pi 2). I guess I'm on the client side, since I don't control the server. The owner of the server just told me I can't record locally, because all recording are saved in the server. This looks odd to me, since I guess there should be a way to record locally. Any ideas? Thanks

No, Tvheadend is a server, and its file access (including recorded files) is based upon that server's access to the files; since the server does not control the client, it does not have he ability to save files locally to the client,

In essence, the client accesses the server and its files, not the other way around.
