SAT-IP

I have setup an instance of TV Headend 4.1-2456~g8610b72

I have enableds the Sat-IP server and have it running through dvb viewer ok both internally and externally checked.

I am trying to use Open ATV sat-ip client but I am unable to discover the server.

How can I make the server broadcast for discovery.

For me, auto discovery isn´t working. But you can add it manualy.

Connect to your Box via FTP. Goto /etc/vtuner and add the following line

0=desc:TVHeadend SAT>IP,ipaddr:192.168.2.3,tuner_type:DVB-C,uuid:3a05ea1d-585b-813f-28d9-ae00bc39a2f6,vtuner_type:satip_client

Change the Uuid and Ip, Restart Enigma2 and it should be in your Tunersettings.

setting the vtuner manually works to add the tuners in,

just found it a bit hit and miss on channel scans and reception based upon box type and image used.
