Hi can anyone please tell me why I cannot read the Mux file for my IPTV Network. I have found the muxes in the following file location:
/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.tvheadend42/input/iptv/networks/1a69a560f5f79afc2865433f2636a7ad/muxes/35272223969957604345d69206371863
but when I try and open this file I am presented with a page of unreadable text i.e.: (NB: This is only part of the text incase it holds sensitive data)
ˇˇGZIP00 ?ã ]SÕN1^;Å ≠Z*ır„D˛ñ$+zBƒNÂP©ÀÒŒ+ª∂k{È#ıP©O”«°;Âß{Ÿ˘f∆fl|3cì›,ÎÊB´J.È^>c•∂“oË>"˜v0x!ç_≥÷÷wfiõ”·P‘îwÉÙ7⁄z^j©Vß≈®

The Mux files seem to be the only file type within TVHeadend that I cannot read using a text editor.I have tried most common programs but can't get a readable file to work with.
What I am trying to achieve is to mass edit the username and password for my IPTV muxes as if I change the user name or password within The M3U file used on startup to load my channels it deletes the Mux data meaning I have to rescan the muxes and then services disappear from my channels meaning that I have to manually re-enter each service next to each channel. This is incredibly time consuming so I am trying to find a shortcut.
If I can get into the Mux file and locate the username and the password then I can change these items on each mux on mass.
To clarify further I am trying to edit the data contained in the URL field of the mux if you select to edit a mux manually in the tvheadend UI. i.e.: http://?????????:8080/livetv/1036536/zzzzzzzzz/3961.ts (1036536 = username and zzzzzzzzz = password)
At the moment the only en mass way I have found to do this is to edit the username and password in each mux using the UI which takes a long time for approaching 700 muxes.
If anyone can tell me why I can't read the Mux file in a readable format or how I can do this or what program to use I'd be very grateful.
Thanks for your time and help.
