That's a good point! @domenic ciciarelli I would re-word your post to remove any details that might land you in trouble on this board ;)
For the record though, the use of OSCam with TVHeadend is not illegal per-se - OSCam works absolutely fine with a genuine viewing card and a USB card reader and is the only way I know of decrypting TV legitimately in TVHeadend.
I will proceed with my answer on the basis that I am covering integrating OSCam with TVHeadend, the method of decryption at the OSCam end is irrelevant to the conversation (OSCam will proxy whatever readers you have, legitimate or otherwise, so I have no need to go into any detail on the reader side of the configuration).
Let's get back to basics, TVHeadend DOES NOT support CLines (rightly so as it would make piracy too easy). For TVHeadend to decrypt pay tv, it needs a CAM (conditional access module) to pass the decryption keys in a format it understands. This is where OSCam comes in.
In OSCam, you set up your readers (I won't help you here) and then you configure OSCam and TVHeadend to talk to each other in the way I describe in my guide. The guide is step-for-step what you need to do so you just need to follow my instructions.
I can't really give you any more advice, just follow the guide.
