Audio Skipping

I've just set up TVH in Kodi 16 and I'm experiencing odd glitches with audio. Every couple of minutes or so there's a tiny break in the sound, the issue seems to happen on all channels.

Does anyone have any troubleshooting suggestions?

What platform are you running Kodi on?

Do you have subtitles enabled?

Is this live or recorded?

I'm running both Kodi 16 and TVH on Fedora 23.

My system specs are as follows:
AMD-A8 7600 3.3Ghz Quad Core APU
32GB DDR3 2133mhz

Tvheadend Drive: 250gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD

No subtitles enabled and this is only affecting live streams - no problems with timeshifting and/or recordings.

I had similar problem.

My audio would drop every now and then like you explain but only on hd live channels.

My problem was solved by disabling audio pass through within kodi settings.

Bizarre because my tv does support ac3 Dolby digital but it just didn't like to play.

Also I belive there to be a way of choosing a different audio stream you could also try that.
