XBMC on AppleTV 2 fails to connect to Tvheadend

XBMC on AppleTV 2 fails to configure a connection to Tvheadend.

After configuring it I got the message that Xbmc can not connect to the server.

But I can see that it does connect but disconnect immediately.

Is this an known problem?

AppleTV 2 is now working with Tvheadend.

how does it perform? are you able to play live streams? any 1080i?

There is a thread over at xbmc, where they post pvr builds for the apple tv. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=94905&pid=915046

It seems that most people have success with SD, but not with 1080i.

I have tried it out, but it seems that it can't handle SD in mpeg2 from my provider Yousee very well. I use an post transcoding script on HD and SD content, then i'm able to play the content on the apple tv. I also own an shuttle xs35gt, which in my opinion is the perfect box. It does everything well and silent, a little more expensive, but i stripped an old laptop to keep cost low.
