xbmc pvr and tvheadend

I am using tvheadend with the xbmc pvr functionality (repository from Lars Op den Kamp) on an ubuntu 10.04 system and everything works fine so far (watching live tv from xbmc and even HDTV) - except that pressing the "record" button at xbmc has either no effect or xbmc terminates. Sure, this is "testing" rigth now. Does anybody know if that should work already or if this is known?

Recording from the tvheadend web interface does work so the setup should be correct.

Record button from top menu in xbmc doesnt work.
You can add recordings however from the left side menu or from tvheadend webinterface.
Check www.xbmc.org forum for question on xbmc with tvheadend.
