Analog TV support?

I'm having a hell of a time finding a application that can support and stream analog video. I've tried TVHeadEnd and it works for ATSC but no analog support? Just wanna hook it up to my cable box and remotely change channels. I don't care if it's SD.

Try old stable 3.4. 4.x+ does not support analogue TV OOTB you can pipe it though, [[Custom_MPEG-TS_Input]]

What about HDMI capture cards? Would TVheadend support that?

Unless it appears as a DVB/ATSC device no, but if it outputs a mpeg-ts stream directly you can set it up as IPTV.
