Extra information:

I can view all unencrypted channels in the HDHR3-4DC webportal. Seems to be an issue in tvheadend.

Anybody any idea's?

Tomorrow my Ziggo will be "upgraded" to the new standards, but from what I understood QAM256 modulated channels will be set to 6900(000) baud symbolrate.

Did you set that option in your HDHomerun configuration ?

You can pick 3 QAM + symbolrate modulations in the HDHomerun config utility. It should be sufficient to set:

QAM256 6900

QAM64 6875

I will test tomorrow and let you know the results after the migration...

The issue is solved :)

I had already seen all new channels had an symbol rate of 6900. I did not know I had to configure HDHomerun config utility. I never configured this, it was running out of the box. The new symbol rate 6900 was not configured.

Original configuration:

root@homeserver:~# hdhomerun_config 141028C7 get /sys/dvbc_modulation a8qam64-6875 a8qam128-6875 a8qam256-6875

Change configuration:

root@homeserver:~# hdhomerun_config 141028C7 set /sys/dvbc_modulation "a8qam64-6875 a8qam256-6875 a8qam256-6900"

New configuration:

root@homeserver:~# hdhomerun_config 141028C7 get /sys/dvbc_modulationa8qam64-6875 a8qam256-6875 a8qam256-6900

No reboot was neccessary.

Indeed - i was about to report that it worked flawless for me the transition so I was quite positive it was a matter of setting the DVB-modulation properly.

I have a setup with 2 Philips TDA10023 adapters that worked fine. I did a new channel scan after the Ziggo update and everything worked just fine. When I booted my system yesterday (xbmc frontend) I got "no input detected". In Tvheadend removed network, muxes etc. Start from scratch but now I don't get any channels.

from the logging:

Yes and no. You are scanning muxes which do not contain the transponder-list

Remove the network and muxes you have currently and add 1 network with

DVB-C:

Network ID: 5555

add 1mux manually

DVB-C

Frequency 474.000.000 Hz (474 MHz.)
Symbol Rate: 6875000 Symbol/s
Constellation: QAM64

FEC: Auto or 3/5

This should yield a new list of (in my case) 39 muxes and 470 services.

I think I'm missing some muxes, I don't get all channels. For instance RTL4 HD or BBC2 HD. Can somebody give me the settings of the muxes these channels are on ? Thanks !

Edit: rescan solved that.

I'll try to figure out what I have, i'll reply tonight. I'm in the 1111 region tough. Don't know if that makes any difference. I myself can't access Nick Jr. Can you check if you have that channel? And share your settings?

I used these settings: https://www.ziggo.nl/klantenservice/televisie-radio/installeren/frequenties-netwerknummers I have all channels now.

I'm still getting the following logs for the channel Nick Jr.

I removed all muxes and channels. Started fresh. All other services, for so far tested, work fine!?
Any ideas?

Hi Rog,

Maybe something stupid, but do you have a proper subscription for Nick Jr? It is not part of the 'TV standaard' package from Ziggo, and in the logs it is not able to descramble.

hmm nah, is more a decoding error. And all other cartoon channels work. Also channels from the same mux.
