spawn: ERROR Username not specified. Please run --configure

Fresh pi install, everything working except this epg grab.

tv_grab_na_dd works just fine from the comandline and when running configure as suggested, returns all the correct epg data etc when run by hand

I suspect some sort of permissions issue, any ideas based on syslog ?

Lemme guess, you're working as root on your device :)? tvheadend seems to run as user hts, re-run tv_grab_na_dd --configure as hts, and it should work ;)

I had this same problem using Linux Mint laptop, for me the issue was that after installing (and running) xmltv, even as the hts user no config file was being created. To fix this I ran

tv_grab_na_dd --configure --config-file /home/hts/.xmltv/tv_grab_na_dd.conf

it then created the appropriate config file and I was able to run the grabber
