if you have the following lspci output :
01:07.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7133/SAA7135 Video Broadcast Decoder (rev d1)
then you'll need to get firmware for your card. tda10046 should be the file you need. Apart from that, it should work out of the box.
