I have seen a few forum posts both here and on the xbmc forums regarding this, but nothing recently.

So my question is, what is the state of series linking through XBMC? I have recently switched from a WMC build to an openelec build with TV headend. This is the one thing I am struggling to find any information on...

Not sure that the XBMC PVR API supports it - or perhaps it's the addon - but you can do it from the web interface easily enough. I must confess that I only ever schedule stuff through the webUI, I find it easier than tabbing about with a TV remote control...

Yeah, I discovered the ipad app last night and that seems to do the job just nicely. The only reason I ask is that the wmc backend does support series link recording -- there are just a couple of extra files that need adding to the skin that enable the series linking.

I am going to agree with this one as well. Running the Kodi 14.2 series and the 3.9 series of TVHeadend, the only thing I want to do in Kodi that I can't is schedule a recording for a series. Granted that is something that can be done via web interface, but it would be great to have it integrated into the plugin.

I see that Kodi 15 will use a new plugin for TVHeadEnd. I am wondering if that will have it in there.
