Epg on MOI box

Hello everyone

I have buy a Moi box and almost everything work as it should, bu ti hve big problems with the epg

I use EIT grabber but it not work as i want, some channel only have epg some hours on the day.

Before i run tvhedend in a separate server with xmltv and it work exelent

In Moi there no xmltv installed and not even perl :-(

Does anyboy know how i can fix this ???

I think maybe i can use the xmltv.sock but nc (netcat) is not installed :-(
Is it possible to feed xmltv.sock from a external server ??

what i mean is that i create the xmltv file and the "feed" xmltv.sock in MOI box.

If i dont get this to work i will probably send it back :-(

hi,

depending on the linux distribution used on that box, you can install xmltv-packages via your packagemanager or by hand.
well... it also depends on free diskspace. but as far as i read, you can SSH into that box as root, so installation of additional
softwareshould be possible.
