TvHeadend and IPTV client

Added by Constantin B 6 months ago

Hello

I installed TvHeadend 4.2 (sdcard image) on a Raspberry PI. Use TVH Client from Android system and it works correctly. I tried unsuccessfully to watch with Smart IPTV or OTTPlayer on a Samsung smart TV. After loading the playlist it works for about 5 minutes and then when connecting or changing channels, Error appears. If I upload a new playlist, it works again for 5 minutes after which it only works at all. Where am I wrong or what is wrong?

Wrong way to get playlist.
There is persistent authentication enabled, with not allow to watch stolen playlist.

Not working.
Channels can be watched for 5 minutes and error.

You should first of all update to the latest version. I'm not sure if 4.2 even has persistent auth available. Then use persistent auth if you want a permanent playlist. Otherwise you need to download the playlist whenever the tickets are expired.

What about OpenElec?

RE: TvHeadend and IPTV client - Added by Constantin B 6 months ago

I don't know anything about OpenElec.

It still does not work.
I installed version 4.3 from the zip.
I set the persistent password to the user.
I exported m3u with http: // user: password @ myAddress: 9981 / playlist / channels.
I uploaded to the OTT server, I cant see the channels, direct error.
Where am I wrong?
In Android, TVH Client it is OK.
Happy weekend everyone!

Super! It works perfectly!
Thanks saen acro for the help.
Thanks to everyone who contributed.

( to help other users in the future )
Summary:
1. Installed Libreelec image 9.2.6 from here: https://libreelec.tv/2016/08/usb-sd-creator/
2. Install TVH 4.2 from repository
3. Installed TVH 4.3 from the zip file,
downloaded here: http://build.mycvh.de/Tvh-LE9.2/4.3-1906-14.10.2020/
5. Set the persistent password on the user
6. Downloaded functional playlist with this command:
http://user:[email protected]:9981/playlist/auth/channels

That was all!

For the developer:
The application is special. Congratulations!
Tip: A button in the HTML console to export the list per user. The above command is not elegant.

My greetings to all!
(Sorry, Google Translate)
