After problems with missing in configuration of connections PLUG and SLOT between TVHeadend and DVB now TVHeadend installed by SNAP working fine. But I have problems with accessing DVR interface from TVHeadend.
I tried made connection between TVHeadend and DVR:
sudo snap connect tvheadend:dvr
but this SLOT DVR in tvheadend not exist. Not exist DVR interface too.
The existing connections are:
Interface Plug Slot Notes desktop tvheadend:desktop :desktop - dvb tvheadend:dvb :dvb manual home tree:home :home - lxd-support lxd:lxd-support :lxd-support - network lxd:network :network - network tvheadend:network :network - network-bind lxd:network-bind :network-bind - network-bind tvheadend:network-bind :network-bind - system-observe lxd:system-observe :system-observe -
How can I connect TVHeadend to DVR in SNAP ? How can I install DVR interface working with TVHeadend?
So not use snap.
To many hidden permissions needed to work as native install.
There is no official snap version AFAIK. So please contact the publisher of that for any questions or issues.
I use this https://snapcraft.io/tvheadend. This not an official version?
No, official versions can be found above under the download link.
Ok. Where, in where repository, is located TVHeadend for Ubuntu 64bit installed at RaspberryPi 4, please?
https://tvheadend.org/projects/tvheadend/wiki/download explains which packages exist and what to do if a package doesn't exist for a specific architecture.
Ok. After I add tvheadend to repository:
echo "deb http://apt.tvheadend.org/stable bionic main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/tvheadend.list
and after I update apt:
sudo apt-get update
I see this problem:
N: Skipping acquire of configured file 'main/binary-armhf/Packages' as repository 'https://apt.tvheadend.org/stable bionic InRelease' doesn't support architecture 'armhf'
RPI 4 with Ubuntu 20.4.1 is for architecture armhf. Where can I obtain TVHeadend for armhf and Ubuntu 20.4 at RPI 4 ?
Or I must use code-name of dist "xenial" ?
For install TVHeadend to Ubuntu 64bit at RPI 4 I need set code-name of Ubuntu "xenial" ?
