EPG wrong time - sheduled records fails

Hi all,

hope you can help me.

I've set up a tvheadend on a fresh Ubuntu 18 system.

NTP is set correctly on the Ubuntu

tvheadend is configured to use NTP (please see tvheadend-ntp).

Taken a deeper look into EPG I can see that the clock is 9 hours behind.

At the moment my clock is showing 11:39am but EPG is showing 2:39am

If trying to record the news at 8:00pm (which is 11:00am in EPG) it's generating the failure attached (tvheadend-ntp-failure.rtf)

Really cunfused what might cause the problem.

Where are you getting the EPG from?
What do you have set in Configuration/DVB Inputs/Networks/EIT Time Offset for the network in question?

HI,

I'm getting the EPG from my DVB Grabber (over the air).

I've de-activated the "Update time" and "Enable NTP driver" because NTP is already configured and working on the server and I don't want to let tvheadend adjust the time.

Configuration/DVB Inputs/Networks/EIT Local time is aktivated.

tvheadend should use local time because NTP is running on the OS (and working):

But it dosen't matter what setting I choose - EPG Bis always 9 hours behind.
Why on hell 9 hours?
2 hours (UTC) I would accept (living in Germany CEST = UTC +2)

You did not answer his question - "What do you have set in Configuration/DVB Inputs/Networks/EIT Time Offset for the network in question?"

What does is show for the time at the top of the webif?

The times in the webif are set to the timezone of the BROWSER, NOT the server - so also check your settings of the machine you are browsing from...

Try removing the check for "EIT localtime"

Unfortunately removing the check for "EIT localtime" didn't solve the problem.

Already tested yesterday.

Today i will trying to use local xmltv-files to see if the problme might be related to OTA.

The change is not reflected immediately - did you stop tvheadend and remove the epgdb file then restart and wait for new epg updates?
