I am using the Kodi Android app, yes, on a Raspberry Pi but it's a bit slower than using the Wuffy media player on my projector as it is not the most powerful Android device unfortunately. HTSP works well, yes, but if it is no longer being maintained then I was thinking of switching to something else. It can wait until after the World Cup :)

Thanks for this but there is one slight problem, I cannot find that authentication type, I can only see a checkbox for "Use HTTP digest authentication:"...any ideas?
Again, thanks for your help.
