How do I setup channel icons correctly.

Hi I've been trying to setup channel icons for a good while now and I just cant figure it out lots of guides say my channel icons need to have service reference names but others say as long as the channel icon name matches the service name they will automatically sync up.

My Tvheadend server is running on the LibreELEC addon and when I installed it, it automatically generated them two folders for me "tvh" and "vdr" the original configuration looked like this

so I tried putting a channel icon called "BBC ONE N West" in both folders and tried reseting the icon and it did not match up.

Any help on the matter would be much appreciated.

Did you ever get any information on how to do this? I have the same question. I have no great interest in using the back end to manage anything; just want icons on the front end on the handful of channels I've selected for a list called Favourites.
