Hi,
I´m wondering if there is a possibility of integrate some kind of parental control in Tvheadend.
In example... We could create users with a specific age limit (let me say 7) and over there all programs watched could be locked with the possibility to write some code to be unlocked.
Actually we can get the age of the programs in the EPG:

Maybe this function can be only integrated in the tvheadend client (like kodi´s PVR addon) but I think that could be more useful if can be activated in the tvheadend itself because the configured user (with the specific restrictions) it will be ready regardless the client used.
What´s your opinion?

You could possibly create tags for your different access levels, and then create different users and limit them to only certain tags.

Thank you for your suggestions... The problem that I would like to solve is how can I view one channel where the programs broadcasted are for all publics and locked the same channel when the program is aged for over 7 years old, for example.
Your suggestions makes me lock the channel all the time even when that channel is broadcasting a programme that could be watched for all members of my family.
Not sure if I have to do a request for it or if this is readed by the developers in terms to search new feature requests.

I don't know.... In my opinion the client should take care of this.
If you are using Kodi, I recommend you the add-on 'PinSentry'

Just switched from TV Mosaic to TV Headend and I am looking for this option as well. Perhaps it is implemented in the mean time, but I just have not found it.
Yes, I am using Kodi, but I'd rather have a pincode set for every client that wants to connect to a channel than me having to manage this on each separate client.
