Maury Markowitz I receive 30 local OTA channels. Most of these (27?) have EPG data. However, some of these send bad data. Is there a way to turn off EPG for a selected channel/service/mux?
Maury Markowitz ...and it doesn't seem to work. Calling the JSON API for events/grid even with all the channels set to "ignore" produces a complete list. So... is there a way to turn off EPG so it is not sent out through the API?
Robert Cameron I believe if there was existing data for the channel before you turned off the epg, it might still persist. I am uncertain how to fully purge the epg database to have it repopulate from scratch.
Maury Markowitz Ahhh. Ok, well, that's a problem. BTW the problem is that I'm getting accented characters in my JSON and the parse barfs. I wanted to fix this just by turning off EPG for the offending channel, but no luck.
Maury Markowitz I tried that, to no avail. However, it is not clear if this is due to new data, or the characters still being in the old encoding and being re-served. Is there some way to clear out all the old EPG data to be sure?
