Problems because of "mpegts: too much queued table input data (over 2MB), discarding new"

Hi all,

I used tvheadend-testing from syno.dierkse.nl with Synology Diskstation 214play - and it worked great!

But now, I don't know after upgrade to DSM 6.0xx or an automatical Update of tvheadend-testing it stopped working.

So, I reinstalled tvheadend.

Fresh install of tvheadend 3.4.27-6 fails.
tvheadend 4.0.8-1 does not find services.

Both packages are from repository SynoCommunity.

Only tvheadend-testing from Repository syno.dierkse.nl. works, because tvh finds services and muxes. Also, I have success with viewing live tv direct from WebGUI using VLC.

So far, so good.

5-8 minutes after tvheadend start, the log reports problems.
At the point when getting the entry "mpegts: too much queued table input data (over 2MB), discarding new", tvheadend stops working:
WebGui freezes and I have to stop tvheadend-service at my diskstation an restart the tvheadend service.

Then the WebGui answers again - but only for 5-8 minutes..

Does anybody know, how I could solve this problem?

1.6 GHz 2 Cores
1024 MB RAM

DSM 6.0.2-8451

I and others had the same issue but it seems to have stopped in later versions. I'm on version 4.1.2273 and the issue hasn't reoccurred.

It seems great, but do I have to wait until it's available for Synology NAS, because the last version is 4.1.2247-1 ...? Or can I download the packages from another site?

I get them from build.mycvh.de but I have a Wetek Play so they may not suitable for your setup.

The dierkse repository is the only one with beta TVH builds that I am aware of. Sorry

Seems to be a problem with firmware 6.x of Synology Diskstation.

Today I tested the versions

on my DS214play, but every trial fails - with all versions the problem occures.

Version 4.1.2271 isn't available for me / for DSM 6.x?

Persists in HTS Tvheadend 4.3-1857~g221c29b40, it's not your synology, it's software. Tested with 5 types of tuners.
