barry road Hi, is it possible to set two or more users as owner of the record? I tried ,.- (space) to separate them, but nothing worked. Post-processor command - %O ? have you tried it somebody?
Robert Cameron No. The easiest way around this is to use groups. Add all of your users to a group, and store their recordings in a directory marked setgid. (@mkdir dir@, then @chmod g+s dir@: this means that whenever a file is created in the directory, it will have the directory's gid, not the primary gid of whoever created the file. This makes it easier to share directories among groups.)
barry road thanks for reply. I didnt know I can create user group. I was looking for the option but I am lost. Where can I set the group? I am using this version of tvh HTS Tvheadend 4.1-2533~g80c52b2 Is it possilbe to have this shared folder with users as well as private folder with recordings?
Robert Cameron I think we're talking about 2 different things here. I was referring to system users, but I think maybe you're talking about Tvheadend's own user system, which is different.
barry road I was talking about TVHs system. I just want to have two folders in recordings, 1.) private recordings 2.) shared recordings I noticed that only user who created the record can acces it (I dont want to allow optin view all) when I change name of the user it appears in recording folder
