tvheadend on MAC OS X

I am trying to install tvheadend on MAC OS X 10.9 (Mavericks).

I downloaded the source through github and ran:

sudo ./configure --disable-dvbscan --disable-linuxdvb

Then I ran make and it fails big time.

Is there any chance to see tvheadend on Mac os x?

I'm actually uping this, I would very much like to install tvheadend on my macmini for its transcoding capabilities…
