What do you mean it "doesn't have sense" and a redirect is needed? There is no redirect needed because the website is not at
www.tvheadend.org@.
The use of "www" as a host identifier is a carryover from the early days of the internet when it used to be necessary to differentiate between the different services a host provided, such as www, ftp, gopher, mail, etc. Just because you feel that Tvheadend's servers should automatically correct your mistaken preconceptions does not make it so.
The proper host to reach Tvheadend's services is @tvheadend.org@. @www.tvheadend.org
is a host that does not exist, so don't try to reach it. (It's a bit like dialing the wrong phone number, but in your case you're expecting the wrong number you keep dialing to somehow be forwarded to the right number. Stop doing that and just dial the correct number.)
